Homabay County Chief of Staff, Charles Odhiambo, has denied allegations that he was attacked by goons following claims of a scandalous affair with Governor Gladys Wanga.
In a phone interview with Ramogi TV, Odhiambo dismissed the rumors as “baseless propaganda” aimed at damaging his reputation. He reassured the public that he was in good health and that the circulating claims were false.
When asked by the presenter if his lips were swollen, as some reports suggested, Odhiambo laughed and responded, “Do I sound like my lips are swollen?”
Odhiambo also clarified his location at the time, stating he was at Yaya Centre attending to his car.
Rumors had spread online claiming that Odhiambo was severely beaten and doused with acid after Wanga’s husband allegedly hired goons to attack him, with reports suggesting he was then flown to India for treatment.
