MP Sylvanus Osoro expressed his strong support for his close friend, Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro, emphasizing that Nyoro has a bright political future despite his recent removal as the chairperson of the Budget and Appropriations Committee. Osoro shared that before Nyoro’s press briefing at KICC on March 18, Nyoro had called him to seek his opinion on the matter.

Osoro, a staunch ally of President William Ruto, described Nyoro as his best friend in Parliament and praised their close relationship. “In Parliament, my best friend is Ndindi Nyoro. This morning, he called me and told me he was going for an interview and wanted my opinion on some things, which I gave him. We are talking about a very dear friend with whom I share close ties. I want to tell you, Nyoro’s best days are ahead of him. Let no one deceive you—this guy has a future,” Osoro said during an interview with Doc Fred.

Nyoro, on the other hand, revealed that he was unaware of the reasons behind his removal from the influential committee. He stated that no leader from the Kenya Kwanza coalition had reached out to him to explain what he had done wrong or what needed to change. “No one from my coalition has ever approached me regarding the position, what I needed to do better, or change, or what needed to be done differently,” Nyoro explained.

Despite feeling betrayed by the lack of communication, Nyoro expressed respect for President Ruto and confidence in his successor, Alego Usonga MP Samuel Atandi. Nyoro also acknowledged the challenges of his tenure, which sometimes required his full commitment, leaving little time for his constituents.

Osoro’s remarks have sparked speculation about Nyoro’s future in Kenya Kwanza politics, with many wondering how the situation will affect his standing in the party.
