Key Responsibilities
Business Growth
- Expand cultivated land under Nukoroto’s management by securing new acquisitions.
- Identify and seize opportunities to enhance operations effectively.
- Promote second-season cropping and encourage regenerative agricultural practices among clients.
Farmer Support
- Offer customized guidance on fodder production, covering crop selection, soil enhancement, and harvesting techniques.
- Collaborate with the Bles Dairies FMS Manager to strengthen business models for individual farmers and cooperatives.
- Maintain partnerships with seed and fertilizer providers to deliver optimal solutions for farmers.
Team Leadership
- Oversee and guide the Commercial Team to meet strategic objectives.
- Formulate and implement strategies to boost team efficiency and achieve growth goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, or a related discipline.
- At least five years of experience in commercial agronomy, ideally in large-scale farming or forage production.
- In-depth understanding of fodder cultivation and agronomic techniques.
- Proven experience in sales and business development within the agricultural industry.
Job Type: Contract
Compensation: KES 315,000 per month, based on output. Compensation varies depending on the number of story points produced per sprint.
